Nicole is a sure fire closet nerd and has done way more school than she ever expected! She has a Bachelor degree in Human Biology from Stanford University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor degree in Nursing from Emory University. In 2016, she completed a Master degree in Nursing from UCLA with a 3.96 GPA and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society.  She loves to learn and is so grateful to have found an awesome career in healthcare where the opportunities for continual learning are endless. 

Bonafide Nerd

Nicole’s most favorite role by far is the one of mama. She is privileged to be raising two incredible little boys - Bryce (9) and Cameron (6). They are the love of her life and also have the uncanny ability to tap dance on her last nerve and almost kill each other on the daily! (why tho?! somebody send help!) In all seriousness, having the flexibility to prioritize her family is a perk of being a business owner and she’s grateful that her patients are supportive of her role as a mom.

Nicole was born and raised in Northeast LA, a predominantly working class Mexican-American neighborhood, and is a grateful granddaughter of Mexican immigrants who have achieved the American dream and paved the way for Nicole’s access to great education. When she’s not working or wrangling her kids, you can find Nicole scouring LA for the best enchiladas suizas or doing the Roger Rabbit at a club she’s most definitely too old to be at. :) She loves this crazy city and plans to call it home forever.

There’s nothing more important to Nicole than her faith in Jesus. It has carried her through the lowest of lows of life and has enabled her to reach goals she never thought possible. She is the woman she is today because of her relationship with God and it is that faith that motivates her to create a life and business marked by excellence, integrity, authenticity and love.

It’s not unusual to find out that Nicole has either just gotten back from a trip out of town or is planning to hop on a plane soon. She loves adventure, diverse cultures, and opportunities to escape the monotony of life. Whether she’s joined by friends or creating memories with her kiddos, she’s committed to working hard and playing hard, and uses travel to cultivate that important balance.

As life sometimes has it, Nicole has been thrown several curveballs over the years. While these curveballs might not have been fun at the moment, they ultimately set the stage for more courage, more clarity and more commitment to be the healthiest version of herself she could be. She continues to make space for things like therapy, recovery groups and spiritual disciplines to strengthen her inner woman and loves incorporating things she’s learning into her aesthetics business.

Nicole’s heart is rooted in social justice and she’s committed to helping all people reach their fullest potential. When she is not seeing her aesthetic patients, she works as a nurse practitioner for the homeless, providing primary care services to patients under bridges, on sidewalks and in parks. She’s also the cofounder and current president of a parent group at her son's school that focuses on addressing racial equity and representation on campus.
